Had at Espresso Coffee Roasters in Kampot.
Definitely a frothier head than it’s Pale Ale counterpart, the Blind Lemon Pale Ale. The darker colour shows the presence of more dark malts and the beer has an ABV of 6.7%.
The body is medium light and I would definitely have wanted some more substance in it. Very easily drinkable and not too much of an aftertaste lingering on the palate. Flowery aroma and the flavour is flowery with some herbal notes. Almost tastes a bit medicinal.
My second Cambodian craft beer was also not a success, but you can’t blame a guy for trying. Being the first and only craft beer brewery in Kampot, it’s definitely a step to the right direction. Hope we will see more of this beers soon. I have also made a write-up about Flower Nanobrewery’s Blind Lemon Pale Ale.
