Flowers Nanobrewery – Duck Walk IPA – Cambodian Craft Beer Review

Flowers Nanobrewery Duck Walk IPA Cambodian Craft Beer

Had at Espresso Coffee Roasters in Kampot.

The Duck Walk IPA definitely has a frothier head than its Pale Ale counterpart, the Blind Lemon Pale Ale. The darker colour shows the presence of more dark malts and the beer has an ABV of 6.7%.

The body is medium light and I would definitely have wanted some more substance in it. Very easily drinkable and not too much of an aftertaste lingering on the palate. Flowery aroma and the flavour is flowery with some herbal notes. Almost tastes a bit medicinal.

My second Cambodian craft beer was also not a success, but you can’t blame a guy for trying. Being the first and only craft beer brewery in Kampot, it’s definitely a step to the right direction. Hope we will see more of his beers soon. (Edit: Projekt Brews is a newer brewery that started brewing in 2021). I have also made a write-up about Flower Nanobrewery’s Blind Lemon Pale Ale. If you want to know where to find Flowers in the capital we recommend that you take a look at the Best craft beer bars in Phnom Penh.
